Rebecca Wood BSW, RSW
Hi, I’m Rebecca.
Thanks so much for being here.
I believe that therapy should feel like a place where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment, pressure, or the expectation that you need to have everything figured out.
As the founder of Stillwater Reflections Therapy and Wellness, I created this practice from a desire to offer a space that feels safe, welcoming, and genuinely collaborative. My approach is rooted in the belief that you are the expert in your own life. My role is to walk alongside you, listen with curiosity and compassion, and help you make sense of what you’re experiencing while working toward the changes that matter to you.
I am a Registered Social Worker with approximately 10 years of experience working in mental health and with complex family systems. Throughout my career, I have supported people through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, difficult life transitions, relationship challenges, and other experiences that can leave us feeling overwhelmed or disconnected from ourselves.
My approach is person-centred, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and relational. I draw from therapeutic approaches including CBT, DBT-informed strategies, mindfulness, and other evidence-informed tools, while always adapting my work to your individual needs, goals, culture, values, and experiences.
I have a particular passion for supporting women and teens, and I value creating spaces where people feel heard, understood, and respected. I also strive to practice with cultural humility and an awareness of the ways our relationships, communities, identities, and life experiences shape our wellbeing.
Most importantly, I don’t believe therapy is about fixing you. I believe it is about creating enough safety and space to pause, reflect, reconnect with yourself, recognize your strengths, and discover where you want to go next.
You don’t have to navigate it alone. I’m here to walk alongside you.
